TriMates connects endurance athletes who share your sport, your level and your area.
TriMates is the app that connects you to athletes like you so you can share your running, cycling and swimming sessions near you.
Looking for a partner for your Sunday ride? A group for your pool sessions? A trail run near you this weekend?
TriMates shows you on an interactive map the athletes and sessions around you, and alerts you automatically whenever a session matches your sport, your level, your area and your availability. Join in one click and chat with the other participants via the built-in chat.
Making triathlon a team sport.
The conviction behind the project.
Triathlon is widely perceived as a solo sport. Solitary prep, individual performance, private tracking on a watch.
And yet, its three disciplines — running, cycling and swimming — are among the ones that benefit most from being practiced with others. A long ride, a track session, an open-water swim: each one gains from being shared.
The gap doesn't come from the sport itself, but from its tools. Tracking apps measure, clubs provide structure, but nothing gathers in one place everything that is run, ridden and swum near you: sessions between amateurs, clubs' open sessions, races.
TriMates was built to fill that gap. One map, every session near you, whether you hold a licence or not. And for the two thirds of athletes who have no club, it is often the way in to the one that suits them. To make triathlon a team sport, as it should be.
