Training with strangers means sharing a place and a time. For women who organize, that's a point that deserves a bit more attention — and one we wanted to handle from the very design of the app. Protections are active by default, you don't have to ask for anything.
All these measures are active by default when you create a session under your own name (outside a group), and on your Girls Only sessions. You can disable them explicitly if you wish, but we recommend against it.
For Girls Only sessions or sessions you create under your own name, only the approximate area (district) is visible until the request is accepted. Nobody can anticipate the rendezvous location without your approval.
A user who wants to join must first request to follow you. You accept or refuse from your profile. Only once accepted can they register — and see the precise address.
Users who have a Smart Alert matching your session are only notified if they're already approved as followers. Otherwise: radio silence, they don't even know your session exists.
Even if someone tries to bypass the interface (DevTools, direct API call), protections are enforced at the database level. Server-side triggers reject any illegitimate action regardless of channel.
Report button on every profile, session and group. Every report is read personally. When an account is suspended, their future sessions are automatically cancelled and participants notified. The person can't do anything until the suspension is lifted.
To publish or join a session, SMS phone verification will soon be required (BlaBlaCar model). This significantly increases the cost of creating a fake account.
No technology replaces IRL caution. A few simple reflexes:
Stay in public places
For your first session with someone outside your trust circle, choose a busy location (park, public pool, frequented square).
Check the profile before accepting
You can see the full profile before accepting a follow request: past sessions, sports, area, verified badge if any. It's their calling card — use it.
Tell someone close
Before your session, send a message to someone close with the location, time and the person's name. A simple reflex that costs nothing.
Report at the slightest doubt
Suspicious profile, inappropriate message, weird behavior on the spot? Report button on the profile. Every report is read personally and can lead to account suspension.
«Girls Only» is a session mode that restricts access to women users — to create non-mixed spaces suited for comfortable practice. The safety measures described on this page apply IN ADDITION: they protect every session you create under your own name, whether Girls Only or open to all.
